Presenting you… Pineapple Custard Pudding also known as pineapple puff.
It’s made with Agar agar(China Grass), Milk, Sugar and Custard. My Mother used to make this in the nineties when I was a kid.
Tinned pineapple slices are used in this cut into small bite size pieces.
When we ate this the evening… Oh boy how much i relished the taste.
Pudding was soft and melted in my mouth.
So did pineapple..
It’s heavenly. 😋😍
Here’s the recipe..
1.5 litre milk
10 Gram agar agar in packet should be grinded in mixer (small one)
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp Custard Brown and Polson.
And fancy bowls or any ice cream bowls 😜will do.
Put milk in a steel container and bring it to boil.
Add agar agar and keep stirring until it dissolves completely..
Then add sugar. Dissolve.
Check in a saucer if it starts to set.
Then add Custard. The milk will suddenly become thick and heavy..
You put tinned strained and chopped pineapple pieces in your bowl.
And pour the milk in the bowl.
Let it cool then put in the refrigerator.
Eat after atleast 4-5 hours.
