MUTTON GURDA

Ingredients
Gurda – 6 No’s cut into two pieces
Ginger garlic paste
Finely chopped onions – 1 cup
Green chilies chopped
Tomato puree – 2 spoons
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder – half tsp
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Dry mango powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder -1 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Cardamom – 2
Cinnamon – 2 inch piece
Bay leaf – 1
Ghee – 4 to 5 tbsp
Method
Heat ghee in a Kadai, add the Pieces of gurda first, cook on low flame. Add all whole spices to it, cover the lid n allow it to cook. Keep on stirring in regular intervals. Now add ginger garlic paste , onions n green chilies to it and mix well . When onions turn little brownish add two spoons of tomato puree and lastly add all dry spices , mix well n cook till ghee separates from sides of Kadai. Check if gurda is cooked well, if not add little water to it and cook till water is dried up. Turn off the stove when gurda is done, garnish with coriander or mint leaves and serve hot. You can also sprinkle lemon juice over it.
