Chicken Chaap
Chicken chaap  is a Bengali Mughlai dish…you may say Royal chicken dish that is cooked with Indian spices and aromatics… It is an automatically brilliant dish… The Nawabs of Bengal brought in it celebrated Awadhi cuisine to Bengal way back in early 18th century. …This recipe is too easy to make.


Chicken 1kg(cut into big pieces)
Onion paste 1/2 cup
Ginger and garlic paste 4tbsp
Red kamiti chilli powder 2tsp
Turmeric powder 1tsp
Salt to taste
Suger 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1tsp
Hang curd 1cup
Cashew paste 1/3 cup
Oil 2tsp
Cow ghee 1tsp
Saffron 10 to 15 soked in Luke warm water
Kewdra water 2tsp
Rose water 1 tsp


Take a bowl, mix all the ingredients by adding one by one… Mix properly,then keep it in the refrigerator for one to two hours..Now take a pan,put the marinated chicken, cook them on medium flame,stir constantly… Cook until the chicken is done… Serve hot with Naan, Paratha,Steamed rice or Biriyani.
