Afgani Chicken

Ingredients:
1. Chicken – 1kg
2. Thick curd – 1.5 cups
3. Ginger-garlic paste – 4 tsp
4. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
5. Chaat masala – 1 tsp
6. Lemon juice – 2 tsp
7. Salt according to taste
8. Fresh cream – 4 tsp
9. Crushed pepper – 1/2 tsp
10. Kasturi methi – 3 tsp
11. Charcoal – 2 pieces
12. Oil – 2 tsp

Method :
Dry roast the Kasturi methi and keep aside. Take a bowl and add the chicken 🐔. Add the curd, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, chaat masala, cream, Kasturi methi, pepper, lemon juice, salt and give it a nice mix. Take a small glass at the centre of the bowl. Flame the charcoal pieces until red hot and put them in the glass. Add a little oil on the red hot charcoal and you’ll see smoke coming off. At this point cover the bowl with a lid and make it airtight. Keep this marinade aside for 2hrs. More the time, tastier it becomes… letting the flavours seep in.
Now, take a pan, heat it and put the oil.
Add the 🐔 chicken pieces and cook till its tender. Aah…the smell!
Serve hot!
